Here Is The Recipe For Cranberry Pudding:

Preparation Time: 25 minutes
Cooking Time: 1 hour
Serves: 10

Ingredients

Cranberries – 2 cups
All purpose flour – 1 1/2 cups
Salt – 1/2 tsp
Baking soda – 1/2 tsp
Boiling water – 1/3 cup
Molasses – 1/2 cup
White sugar – 1 cup
Softened butter – 1/2 cup
Heavy whipping cream – 1/2 cup
Vanilla extract – 1 tsp

Method Of Preparation:

Step 1

Firstly you need to grease a pudding mold. Just lightly grease it. You can also use coffee pan for this recipe. Pick the whole cranberries. Wash them and drain the excess water. Use fresh cranberries for this recipe.

Step 2

Now sift the flour with the salt. Dredge the cranberries in the flour mixture. Make sure it is coated well with the salt and flour.

Step 3

Now dissolve the soda in the boiling water. Add the molasses in it. Now stir and allow it to foam. It will foam up.

Step 4

Now add this to the cranberry and flour mixture. Mix it together and let it blend. Spoon this into the prepared greased pan or mold. Now cover it with an aluminum foil. Make sure you use a double layer. Now fasten it with a string. Make sure it is tightly secured. If it is not tied up properly, it will start overflowing. You can use an elastic band as well instead of a string.

Step 5

Fill a saucepan with water and place the filled pudding pan in it. Make sure the water is just added halfway of the pudding can. Do not overfill because that will overflow and ruin the pudding. Now cover the saucepan and place it on high heat. Bring it to a boil and reduce the heat. Let it simmer for about 1 hour. Remove it from the water and let it cool. You need to let it cool. Wait for it to cool because if you try to get the pudding out before it is cool, it will break.

Step 6

Now you need to prepare the yummy sauce for your pudding. Mix the butter, cream and sugar together in a saucepan. Cook it on medium heat till it gets thick and rich. Stir it constantly. Remove it from heat and then add the vanilla. This will give a beautiful flavor and fragrance to your dessert.

Step 7

Now once the pudding is ready, invert the pan or just open the bottom of the can and push it through. Slice the pudding according to your personal choice. Pour the sauce on the pieces of pudding individually. Your dish is ready to serve and eat!
