Recipe To The Delicious Grilled Chicken And Prawns Laksa At Home

This is the delicious dish in which we first marinate the chicken in the soy sauce, honey and oil, then we grill it and fry it, we shred the meat, we also prepare the paste of the shallots, garlic, nuts, ginger, chili and fry them we add the chicken stock to it and then we prawns and chicken in it, we boil the eggs and served all the things together.

Preparation Time- 20 Minutes

Serves- 4


Honey- 2 tablespoon
Soy sauce- 1 tablespoon
Peanut oil- 1 tablespoon
All spice- 1 tablespoon
Chicken whole- 500 gm
Banana shallots- 2
Garlic- 3 cloves
Candle nuts- 50 gm
Ginger- 1 teaspoon
Red chili- 1
Chili paste- 1 tablespoon
Lemongrass- 1 stalk
Fish sauce- 1 tablespoon
Peanut oil- 1 tablespoon
Curry powder- 1 tablespoon
Chicken stock- 2
Coconut milk- 500 ml
Fish sauce- 1 tablespoon
Lime juice- 1 tablespoon
King prawns- 300 gm
Green beans- 100 gm
Beansprouts- 100 gm
Coriander leaves- 1 handful
Eggs- 4
Lime- 1
Salt- as per taste
Pepper- 1 tablespoon

Methods Of Preparation:

Step 1

First you need to take the chicken, cut the breast of it, clean it proper, make sure that there should not be skin on it, now poke it with the folk everywhere, take the deep bowl, add the honey, peanut oil, soy sauce, all spices, season it with the salt and pepper, mix all the things well, add chicken to it, mix it gently, leave it inside the refrigerator for about the 1 hour.

Step 2

Now take the pan put it on the low heat, add the olive oil to it, take the pestle and add the shallots, garlic, candle nuts, red chili without seeds, lemongrass, fish sauce, add little bit of the oil to it, now make the paste of it, add the red chili paste and get the mixture of it, now add the peanut oil in the pan and add the paste in it, fry it gently, so that it will be fried nicely.

Step 3

Take the hot water in the deep water, crumble the chicken stock in it, mix it well so that there will not be any pieces of the chicken stock in the mixture, add this mixture to the pan and let it bubble for about the 5 to 6 minutes.

Step 4

Now take the grill pan, over the high heat, drizzle little bit of the olive oil to it, place the chicken to it, now grill the chicken for about the 6 minutes, now transfer it to the skillet over the low flame and fry it nicely from all the sides for 5 minutes.

Step 5

Cool down the chicken and shred the chicken, clean the prawns, now in the chicken stock mixture, add the coconut milk, curry powder, to it, add the chicken along with the prawns, add the fish sauce, lime juice, add green beans to it, leave the mixture for about the 10 minutes, so that the flavor will be infuse in all the things.

Step 6

Now take bowl, add the water, place the eggs and boil the eggs, now take out the eggs and cool them down, cut it into half, take the bowl, place the mixture to the bottom of bowl, place the chicken and the prawns on it, place the boiled egg in it, sprinkle toasted nuts and the chopped coriander leaves on it and served it. The dish is  ready to eat.
