Recipe For Delicious Italian Sausage Stuffed Bell Peppers At Home

This is the delicious dish with the perfect combination of the vegetables and the meat, in this we take the delicious sausage, we shred it and fry the sausage with the chopped onions and the chopped garlic, we then fry the finely chopped garlic to it, we mix it with the boiled rice, we then mix all the things, we cut the top of the pepper and then fill it with the mixture, we grate the cheese on it, we bake it, season it and served it.

Italian Sausage Stuffed Bell Peppers

Serves- 4


Onion- 1 small
Garlic- 3 cloves
Olive oil- 1 tablespoon
Cumin seeds- 1 teaspoon
Sausage- 4
Cinnamon powder- 1 teaspoon
Mushrooms- 4
Parsley- 1 teaspoon chopped
Rice- 100 gm cooked
Bell peppers- 10 small
Italian seasoning- 1 tablespoon
Parmesan cheese- 50 gm
Salt- as per taste

Methods Of Preparation:

Step 1

First you need to take the onion, peel it and chopped it fine, we take the garlic, we chopped it also, now you need to take the skillet, add the 1 tablespoon of the olive oil to it, add 1 teaspoon of the cumin seeds to it, add the garlic and the onions to it, fry all the things very well.

Step 2

Now you need to take out the sausages meat to the bowl, add 1 teaspoon of the cinnamon powder to it, place this in the skillet, mix all the things well and then tour the meat in pieces with the help of the spatula, cover the lid and cook it for sometime, so that the color of the meat will get change, take out the sausages to the other plate and leave the juice of it in the skillet.

Step 3

Take the mushrooms, chopped it very fine, now you need to place it to the juices of the sausages, fry it for sometime over the low heat, now mix it with the sausages mixture, take the bowl, add the water to it, add the clean rice in it, add few drops of the olive oil to it, so that the rice will not stick together, cover the lid and then cook the rice over the medium heat for about the 5 minutes.

Step 4

As the rice are cooked now you need to take out the rice from the bowl, drain the water and mix the rice with the sausage mixture, add 1 tablespoon of the Italian seasoning to it, now again fry it in the skillet over the low heat for sometime, so that all the flavors will get infused to each other, add fresh chopped parsley leaves in it.

Step 5

Take the pepper of the red, yellow and the red in color, clean it in the running water, now cut the top of it with the sharp knife, now with the help of the spoon, scoop out the seeds from it and then clean it properly and make the cavity in it, now place the mixture in it, now grate the parmesan cheese to it, do this for all the peppers.

Step 6

Place all the peppers to the baking tray, drizzle some of the olive oil to it, place this inside the oven for about the 10 minutes at 180 degree Celsius, now take it out and served it with any dipping sauce. The delicious Italian sausage stuffed bell peppers is ready to eat.
