Recipe To The Delicious Jalapeno Cheddar Cornbread At Home

This is the delicious bread which is healthy also, as it has the goodness of the corn flour in it, we first prepare the dry mixture of the all purpose and corn flour, then we prepare the mixture of the egg, milk, we mix both the mixture and get the custard consistency, we then fry the Korean red chili, we make the paste of it, along with the chopped garlic and onions and mix it with the flour mixture, we then fry it in the pan, we sprinkle the chopped jalapeno to it, we bake it and served slices of it.

Jalapeno Cheddar Cornbread

Preparation Time- 10 Minutes
Cooking Time- 35 Minutes
Serves- 4

Ingredients:

All purpose flour- 60 gm
Corn flour- 60 gm
Salt- as per taste
Eggs- 2
Whole milk- 100 ml
Korean Red Chili- 2
Onion- 1 small
Garlic- 2 cloves
Jalapeno- 2 chopped
Olive oil- 1 tablespoon
Red chili powder- 1 teaspoon

Methods Of Preparation:

Step 1

First you need to take the deep clean bowl, then add the sieve the all purpose flour to it, corn flour, add baking soda to it, mix little bit of the salt to it, now add the red chili powder to it, mix all the things well, take another bowl, add milk to it, crack 2 eggs to it, make sure that there will not be any shells to the mixture of the milk, add little bit of the olive oil to it, now whisk all the things well, so that egg will be mixed up with the milk.

Step 2

Now add the milk mixture to the bowl of the all purpose flour, now you need to take the whisker and whisk up the whole thing, so that there will not be any lumps in the mixture, if the consistency of the mixture is so thick, then you need to milk and add make the consistency of the custard, cover the bowl with the cling film and leave it for sometime.

Step 3

Korean red chili, cut the top of it, now take the grill pan, place it on the low heat, as the pan is hot, add the red chili to it, now take out the chili, allow it cool, now scratch the outer skin of the red chili to it, do this for about the 4 red chili, now wrap the chili in the aluminium foil, place this inside the oven for about the 15 minutes.

Step 4

Now take it out, place this inside the jar, add little bit of the olive oil to it, add the chopped garlic and onions to it, now make the paste of it, now add this mixture to the bowl of the milk mixture, now whisk up it little bit, now take the skillet, put it on the low heat, as the pan is hot, add little bit of the olive oil to it, now chopped the jalapeno pepper and add this to the mixture, now fry it on the pan for about the 5 minutes.

Step 5

After the 5 minutes, place the pan directly to the preheated oven at 180 degree Celsius for about the 25 minutes, now take it out to the board and flip it, take a butter cube, place it on the top of the jalapeno mixture, now brush the butter to all the sides of it, leave it for sometime and then cut it into slices and served it. The delicious jalapeno cheddar cornbread is ready to eat.
