Recipe To The Delicious Turmeric Roasted Green Beans And Potatoes At Home

This is healthy, easy to cook vegetarian dish and it is loved by most of us, we first clean the beans, cut it, then we marinate in the soy sauce and the sugar mixture, we then boil the potatoes, we cut it and coat it with the turmeric powder, then we fry the beans in the skillet with the honey, onions, garlic. We bake all the potatoes and the beans in the tray, garnish it with the toasted sesame seeds and served it.

Turmeric Roasted Green Beans And Potatoes

Preparation Time- 10 Minutes
Cooking Time- 40 Minutes
Serves- 4

Ingredients:

Beans- 200 gm
Potatoes- 500 gm
Turmeric- 1 tablespoon
Soy sauce- 2 tablespoon
Brown sugar- 1 teaspoon
Honey- 1 tablespoon
Sesame seeds- 1 tablespoon
Olive oil- 1 tablespoon
Vinegar- 1 tablespoon
Cumin seeds- 1 teaspoon
Salt- as per taste

Methods Of Preparation:

Step 1

First you need to take the fresh green beans, clean it with the running water, now you need to cut the top and the bottom of it, take out the thread of it, again clean it with the running water, now you need to take the bowl, add the soy sauce to it, add little bit of the brown sugar to it, add the green beans to it, soak the beans in it for about some hours.

Step 2

Now you need to take the clean skillet on the pan, put it on the low flame, as the skillet it hot, add the sesame seeds to it, shake it and toss it so that all the sesame seeds will get toasted.

Step 3

Now you need to take the potatoes, clean it in the running water, rub the skin well and remove the girt of it, place this in the bowl, add the water to it, add little bit of the salt and the olive oil to it, cover the lid and leave it over the medium flame for about the 5 minutes.

Step 4

Now you need take the skewer insert it and take it out, so that it will get half cooked, now you need to take the potatoes, cut it into big chunks with the skin on it, now you need to take the turmeric powder, mix it with the potatoes and get the coat of it.

Now you need to take the same skillet, add the olive oil to it, add some of the cumin seeds to it, as the cumin seeds are popping, add the chopped garlic to it, add the chopped onions to it, fry it for sometime, now add the beans to it, fry the beans for sometime, add 1 tablespoon of the honey to it, now add the marinated sesame seeds to it, fry it again for sometime, you need to evaporated the soy sauce and then make the thick gravy from it.

Step 6

Now you need to take the baking tray, place the aluminum foil to it, pour the gravy on the base of it, add the potatoes to it, add the beans to it, now again cover it with the aluminum foil, place this inside a preheated oven at 180 degree Celsius for about the 10 minutes, so that there will be smoky flavor in it,

Step 7

Now, take it out from the oven, take out the serving plate, place all the beans and the potatoes to it, pour the liquid mixture on the top of it, now sprinkle the sesame seeds to it and served it. The delicious turmeric roasted green beans and potatoes recipe is ready to eat.
