Spicy Seafood Stew With Tomatoes And Lime Recipe

What can be more amazing than a dish that takes less time, and is delicious to eat, a dish we all feel like having more even after the appetite is all gone? I am going to introduce you to one such recipe. The recipe is Maxican and is inspired from one-pot casserole packed with shellfish, chilli and white fish.

Ingredients Required For The Recipe:

• Dried ancho – 2
• Olive oil – 2 teaspoon
• Chopped, garlic cloves – 4
• Chopped onion -1
• Smoked hot paprika – 1 teaspoon
• Chicken stock – 700 ml
• Ground cumin – 1 teaspoon
• Chopped tomato – 200 gram
• Halibut, cut into 2/12 cm pieces each – 300 gram
• Peele raw prawn – 200 gram and large
• Clam – 300 gram
• Juice from – 2 limes
• Halved and boiled potato – 500 gram

For Servings

• Small lime wedge
• Handful of coriander leaves
• Sliced and baked corn tortillas
• Chopped avocado – 1
• Finely diced red onion – 1 small

Instruction Of How To Prepare The Recipe:

Step 1:

Place a frying pan on heat and toast the chilles into it for a few moments. Once they start puffing up, remove from the pan. Remove the seeds of the chilles and then cut their stem. Finally keep soaked in the water for 15 minutes.

Step 2:

Place another large saucepan on heat on medium setting and add olive oil to it. Add garlic and onion and cook for the next 5 minutes or until they become soft. Next, add cumin, stock, chilles that were earlier kept into water, tomatoes and stock. Sauté the ingredients for 5 minutes then transfer into a blender until they become very fine.

Step 3:

Pour the puree or the mashed ingredients from the blender back to the pan and allow it to boil. When it starts boiling, reduce the heat and allow to simmer for 10 minutes. Follow up with prawns, clams, potatoes and fish fillets into the mixture. Stir to mix properly and then cover with a lid. Cook in this state on medium to high setting for the next 5 minutes.

Step 4:

This completes you cooking part. Now transfer the recipe into a plate and serve with your favorite lime wedge, coriander, red onion, avocado and tortilla chips. Decorate nicely on top and hop on afterwards.
