Tasty Healthy Chicken Wrap

Chicken wrap is a tasty food. Not only chicken or the bread but also various vegetables are also used in this food. For this reason it is a great combo of carbohydrate, protein, minerals and vitamins. As it is a compact and heavy food and you will require no more things with it. It is an ideal food at your breakfast or as an evening snack. It keeps your stomach full for a long time.

250 grams chicken
6 Mexican bread
1 onion
1 small ginger
2-3 cloves of garlic
2 green chilies
1 ripe tomato
1 bell pepper
a few fresh coriander leaves
1 lemon
black pepper
salt and olive oil

Methods Of Preparation:

Step 1

First you have to prepare the chicken. You may buy ready-made minced chicken or you may make it at home mincing boneless chicken breast at home. Sprinkle some salt and a few drops of lemon juice on minced chicken. Mix everything and keep it aside for 30- 40 minutes.

Step 2

Chop one onion, grate the ginger and mince the garlic. Chop tomato.

Step 3

Chop bell pepper, green chili, coriander and parsley. Keep these vegetables in a container. Squeeze a few drops of lemon juice over them and dust some salt. Sprinkle some freshly ground black pepper powder. Mix it with a spoon.

Step 4

Grate mozzarella cheese and keep them aside.

Step 5

Heat one pan and add 2-3 tablespoons of olive oil in it. Add onion, garlic and ginger in the oil. Stir them for a minute. Then add chopped tomato and sprinkle a little amount of salt over them. Salt helps to melt the tomato. Stir continuously for a minute or two and then add minced chicken. Stir to mix everything. Add little amount of water and slow cook the chicken for 10-15 minutes keeping the lid on. After that remove the lid and cook it on high it to steam out the excess water. Now your chicken it ready.

Step 6

Take a big container and add chicken and other chopped vegetables in it. Pour a tablespoon olive oil in it. Add 2 cups of grated cheese, 2-3 pinches of black pepper powder, and a few drops of lemon juice. Mix everything with a spoon. Check whether you need some extra salt for the stuffing. Now your stuffing is ready.

Step 7

Now divide this stuffing into six equal pieces because you have six Mexican Breads. Now take each bread and place the stuffing over them. Wrap it. In this way to make six wraps. Now place them in micro oven for 2 -3 minutes in 180 degree convection mode. Your wraps are ready to eat.

Step 8

Serve hot chicken wraps with tomato sauce or English mustard.
