In this recipe is used seiten which is a substitute of meat and made from the wheat gluten. Even for vegetarian, there is no other a choice than this one.

Ingredients Needed To Prepare The Recipe:

red curry paste – 1 teaspoon
chopped fresh ginger – 2 teaspoon
coconut milk, divided – 1 can
chopped cloves of garlic – 3
chicken style seiten, cut into cubes or strips – 1 package
white sugar – 3 teaspoon
smooth peanut butter – 3 teaspoon
soy sauce or tamari – 1 teaspoon
vegetable oil – 1 teaspoon
chili garlic sauce – 1.2 teaspoon
chopped fresh spinach – 1 bunch
vegetarian oyster sauce – ½ teaspoon
sweet chopped onion – ½
chopped green onions – 4

Direction On How To Prepare The Recipe:

Step 1

Take a small bowl and add garlic, curry paste and ginger. Pour about ¼ cup of coconut milk and stir all these ingredients to mix properly. Stir until you find the mixture smooth. Now add seiten to the bowl containing all these ingredients and coat the seiten with the marinade. Stir once again and place into the refrigerator for about 30 minutes to 1 hour. You must know that the more you keep on placing it into the refrigerator, the better consistency and flavor it will get. Also, it will be amazing to taste.

Step 2

Take another bowl medium in size and add the reaming coconut milk, sugar, peanut butter, soy sauce, chili garlic sauce, ouster sauce and vegetable oil to it. Stir to mix all these ingredients properly. Don’t worry if there are formed lump into the bowl as it will be molded properly once cooked. After mixing, place the bowl aside.

Step 3

Place a very large skillet on heat. Coat the surface on the skillet with the cooking spray and add the chopped onion to it. Cook stirringly for some time or till you find the onion have turned light brown or tender in texture. This might take about some 3 to 4 minutes. After onion, add seiten and cook stirring for some time. The seiten should be cooked properly. To get such result, it might take about some 7 minutes. After seiten, add the sauce that you have prepared in the second step and stir to combine it properly. Once properly mixed, add the green onions and spinach to it. Cook for about 3 minutes or until you find the sauce has thickened. The spinach should be cooked thoroughly.

Step 4

This completes your recipe. Remove from the heat and serve in a platter. Although, you need not to garnish it but if you want, you may garnish the recipe with other ingredients. Don’t wait, just serve to yourself, friends and family.
