Preparation Time: 15 Minutes
Cooking Time: 40 Minutes
Serves: 5


Round sliced oranges – 2
Sliced onion – 1
Olive oil – 2 tbsp
Salmon fillets – 5
Lemon pepper – 1 tbsp
Garlic powder – 1 1/2 tsp
Dried parsley – 1 tbsp
Orange juice – 1/2 cup
Lemon juice – 1 1/2 tbsp
Honey – 1 tbsp

Method Of Preparation:

Step 1

Preheat your oven to 200 degrees C or 400 degrees F.

Step 2

Now take a bowl and stir the lemon pepper, dried parsley and garlic powder together. Take a baking dish and place the orange rounds at the bottom in a single layer. Now place the onion slices on the oranges rounds in a single layer. Drizzle some olive oil and sprinkle the herb mixture. Just use half of it.

Step 3

Place this dish in the oven which is preheated. Roast it for 20 minutes till the onions get brown and nicely tender. Remove it from the oven and increase temperature to 220 degrees C.

Step 4

Now you need to push orange and onion slices to the outer edges of your baking dish and place salmon fillets at the center. Season it with the remaining herb mix. Whisk the lemon juice, orange juice and honey in a bowl. Pour it evenly on the salmon.

Step 5

Baking it for 15 minutes in the oven till the salmon turns opaque in its center. Remove the salmon fillets in a serving dish and discard the orange. Garnish the salmon fillets with fresh orange slices and the roasted onions.
