Preparation Time: 15 minutes
Cooking Time: 10 minutes
Shrimp – 1 pound
Crab claws – 8
Scallion head – 2
Tapioca flour – 2 tsp
Baking powder – 1/2 tsp
Olive oil – 1 tsp
Minced garlic – 1/2 tsp
Panko bread crumb or usual bread crumb
1 Egg white
Method Of Preparation:
Firstly, you need to wash and devein the shrimp. This is important to do.
Rinse the shrimp with cold water and salt till it gets clean.
Dry the shrimps using paper towel.
Now add the tapioca flour, olive oil, salt, sugar, minced garlic and pepper to the shrimps. Also, use the white portion of green onion or scallion and add it to the shrimp. Use the blender or food processor to make a paste out of these ingredients. You will get a shrimp paste.
Now take out the shrimp mixture and put it in the freezer in a container. You need this to stay overnight.
Next day, take the shrimp paste and put it in the food processor again.
Divide the paste in 8 portions and stuff shrimp paste with the crab claws. Steam these for about 3 minutes.
Now dip the steamed stuffed crab claws with the egg white and then coat with bread crumbs. It should start looking like a drumstick.
Now in a saucepan, add canola oil. Once the oil is hot, fry the stuffed crab claws. Once it gets golden brown – serve it with a yummy plum sauce.
