Ingredients Needed For Thai Pad Kra Pao Gai
1 big egg
2 teaspoon of all-purpose oil (for preparing egg)
1 chicken breast of about 200 grams
4 Thai chilles
5 garlic cloves
1 tablespoon of oyster sauce
1 teaspoon of oil for frying chicken
1/2 teaspoon of light soy sauce
½ tablespoon of sugar
Little bit of dark soy sauce
1 handful of the special Thai holy basil leaves
Instructions To Prepare Thai Pad Kra Pao Gai
Taka a wok and add 2 teaspoon of vegetable oil on high-medium heat.
Break one egg as soon as the oil heats up. Allow it to sizzle and form bubbles at its surface. Add little amount of hot oil on the surface of the egg. Don’t flip the egg and let it cook from one side.
Once the egg is prepared from one side, take it out in a plate and drain the extra oil from it.
Take the boneless chicken and cut it into small pieces. Peel the garlic and together with chilles, mince it. Don’t minced the two very fine. Now separate the holy basil leaves off their stems.
Now comes the main part of the recipe i.e. cooking chicken. Preheat the wok on high heat and add 1 teaspoon of oil in it. Add minced chilles and garlic to the oil and stir fry for the subsequent 20 seconds. You can also decide the time by their leaving turning really aromatic. Add the previously cut chicken pieces to the oil. Sit fry the chicken pieces until they turn brown. In case, it starts soaking all the oil ad turns dry, add little amount of oil to keep it from drying and burning.
Add ½ teaspoon of light soy sauce, 1 tablespoon of oyster sauce, little splash of dark soy sauce and ½ teaspoon of sugar. Stir fry the ingredients for the next 30 minutes.
In this step, carefully toss the Thai holy basil leaves into the chicken and mix well with chicken pieces.
