Ingredients:

2 potatoes
lemon
cumin seeds
coriander seeds
dry red chili (optional)
black salt
fried flour crispies
chick peas
green chili
coriander leaves

Preparation:

Boil potato with jacket in salty water till they get soft. Remove the jacket and cut them into small pieces. Soak a handful chickpea in water overnight to get soft. Roast coriander seeds and cumin seeds in a 1:2 ratio. If you want spicy taste then add 1 red chili in the time of roasting. Grind them to fine powder and keep them aside. Squeeze lemon and strain the juice. Chop 1 green chili and some fresh coriander leaves very finely.

In a bowl add the potato slices, add black salt, roasted spice, soaked and soft chick peas and lemon juice. Stir well with a spoon to mix everything. At last add chopped green chili and chopped coriander leaves.

Step 2:

Ingredients:

Bengal gram ½ cup
baking soda
cumin seeds
coriander seeds
red chili
ajwain
oil
yogurt
ripe tamarind
molasses
black salt
potato
coriander leaves
green chili
ice cubes

Preparation:

Step 1:

Boil potato with jacket. After they get tender, remove the jacket and cut them into pieces. Then you need to make preparation for fritters. Pour Bengal gram powder in a container. Add a pinch of baking soda and salt in it. Add some ajwain and a few drops of oil in it. Mix well. Add some water in it to make a smooth and thick paste. Preparation for fritters is ready. Now roast one red chili, pinch of ajwain, 2 tablespoons cumin seeds and 1 tablespoon coriander seed. Grind them to fine powder.

Step 2:

Next make the tamarind sauce. In a container soak ripe tamarind and molasses in water to get soft. Mash and mix them and remove the thick extract. Next what you have to do is to prepare the yogurt. In a container take a good amount of yogurt. Add black salt, some tamarind sauce, and roasted powder. Mix well and add some ice cubes in the yogurt to get cool. Chop coriander leaves and green chili very finely and eliminate the seeds.

Heat oil properly and with the help of a spoon add Bengal gram paste in the oil. Fry them till golden brown in a rounded shape. Your fritter is ready. On a plate place some fritters and diced boiled potato. Pour yogurt on it.

Step 2:

Then add some tamarind molasses sauce and sprinkle some black salt over it. Add some chopped coriander leaves and green chili over it and serve it as evening snacks. It helps to make your body cool. Spices used in this food like ajwain, coriander and cumin helps to digest foods also.
