Try This Melt-In-Mouth Creamy Oregano Chicken Recipe

In case you feel the dish is slightly heavy you can balance it out by replacing cream with mayonnaise and adding a few roasted veggies into the sauce.

Creamy Oregano Chicken

Here Is A Recipe To Make The Heavenly Creamy Oregano Chicken:

Recipe Ingredients:

2 pounds chicken breasts
1 tspn Oregano (dried)
1 tspn mustard powder
1/2 tspn garlic powder
1/4th tspn white pepper powder
1 cup fresh cream
1/2 cup chicken stock
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

Olive oil
Salt as per taste


Step 1

Heat some olive oil in a frying pan and shallow fry whole chicken breasts on both sides until tender. Transfer the cooked chicken breasts on tissue paper to absorb any excess oil.

Step 2

Chop the cooked chicken into bite sized chunks and keep aside. Reserve the oil left in the frying pan for making the sauce.

Step 3

To make the sauce stir a cup of fresh cream with salt, garlic powder, pepper powder and mustard powder in a bowl and add it to the pan which was used to fry chicken pieces.

Step 4

Cook the sauce over low heat for 3 to 4 minutes and keep stirring in between. Add chicken stock to loosen the consistency of the sauce.

Step 5

Now add cooked chicken pieces into the gravy and cook for another five minutes. Garnish with grated parmesan cheese and serve hot with pasta, steamed rice or any bread of your choice.
