Here Is The Recipe For Fish Tostadas:

Serves: 4

Ingredients:

For The Fish:

Tilapia fillets – 4
Paprika – 1 tsp
Cumin – 1 1/2 tsp
Garlic powder – 1 tsp
Sea salt – 1 tsp
Chili powder – 1/2 tsp
Pepper
Olive oil

For The Crema:

Sour cream – 1/2 cup
Mayo – 3 tbsp
Chopped cilantro – 1/4 cup
Juiced lime – 2
Zested lime – 1
Sea salt
Pepper
Garlic powder – 1/4 tsp
For assembling:
Corn tortillas – 8
Avocado
Shredded cabbage
Lime
Roasted Pepper Salsa
Cilantro

Method Of Preparation:

Step 1

Now first you need to make the crema which is a cilantro and lime crema. Mix all the ingredients in a large bowl. Combine it well and refrigerate till it is ready to use.

Step 2

Now comes the cooking the fish part. Combine the paprika, cumin, chili powder, garlic powder, sea salt and the pepper in a large bowl. Mix it well. Now add the tilapia fillet to the mixture and coat it well with the spices. Make sure both the sides are covered with the mix.

Step 3

Now heat the grill. You can also use a nicely oiled grill pan for this. Spray some olive oil on each of the prepared tilapia fillets and grill it on medium heat till it is cooked through. Use a fork to check if it is cooked. It should flake easily when you use a fork. It will take about 3 minutes to cook each side.

Step 4

Now you need to make the tostadas. Preheat the oven to about 400 degrees. Brush each of the corn tortillas using olive oil. Now place it on a baking sheet. It should be a foiled baking sheet. Heat the tortillas till they are golden brown and crispy. Turn it once when you are baking it. This should take about 10 minutes. You want a crispy texture for the tostadas.

Step 5

Now use a fork to flake the tilapia fish. Pile the flaked tilapia fish on top of the tostada. Drizzle some crema over it and top it with salsa, fresh cilantro, sliced avocado, shredded cabbage and serve it with the slices of lime. Your dish is ready to serve!
